You Can Lend a Hand!

Like Lisa, maybe you have some friends who are always there to help. Or maybe you're that kind of person. Really, that's one of the most important reasons we have friends. Everyone has a special role to play.
Let's take a moment to brainstorm some ways to be a better friend. Even if things are going well for others, some little actions will make a big difference. How about helping a classmate learn her list of spelling words before the day of the test? Sharing your new pack of markers with a friend who forgot his? People love to know that they're appreciated. A homemade thank-you card can really lift someone's day.
Of course, like Lisa, we sometimes have enormous problems that a card isn't able to fix. We can always pray about the situation. We can also to turn others like parents, friends, and even older friends like Mr. and Mrs. Green. That's another cool thing - friends can be any age!
